WELCOME TO OUR ACADEMY

Founded in January of 1989, Coral Park Christian Academy (then Christian Learning Center) started with only four children and since then many families have trusted our staff to teach and guide their children in the early stages of their growth and development.

CPCA is a ministry of Primera Iglesia Bautista de Coral Park, with the purpose of providing an education based on Christian ideals and principles with high scholastic standards. As a result, the school maintains a close, harmonious relationship with the church. The school maintains a Preschool, elementary and middle school and is open to the general public regardless of race, color, or gender.

WHAT TO EXPECT
MISSION STATEMENT

To provide a quality, structured Christian education for all students and a nurturing, stimulating learning environment that allows students to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Our school will emphasize the individual’s worth and the eternal values of God and provide academic excellence.

WHAT TO EXPECT

CPCA is designed to give our students the necessary foundation to live out God’s plan for their lives. Every student is different. Some students desire to enter the work force immediately after high school.

Other students desire to pursue a technical education. Most students aspire to enter college. Whichever direction a student believes God wants him/her to take, our school is committed to giving him/her good guidance. CPCA will motivate children to learn as well as enhance their self-image and self-esteem. We will also teach our students self-discipline through submission to God and all other authority (Rom. 13:1; Heb. 13:7; Ps. 40:8)

OUR PHILOSOPHY
  • The Bible is the inspired word of God and can cultivate our abilities and meet our needs.
  • The Bible is the core of our educational process and curriculum.
  • Each child has infinite worth and value with unique abilities and needs.
  • CPCA will strive to promote an environment of educational excellence.
  • CPCA will emphasize the individual’s worth and the eternal values of God.
  • CPCA will provide quality education in a Christian environment.
  • The learning experiences will be individualized to the best of the school’s abilities.
  • CPCA will work with parents to enhance the learning experience for each child.
  • CPCA will provide children with learning materials that meet each child’s cognitive and developmental needs.
  • CPCA will motivate children to learn and enhance their self-image and self-esteem.
STATEMENT OF FAITH

A. We believe that there is one God eternally existent in the persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.-I John 5:7

B. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ who took on human flesh, lived a sinless life, was crucified, buried and rose again, who ascended back to Heaven to make intercession for us, and who will return in power and glory.-II Corinthians 5:21

C. We believe that all men are sinful by nature and are in need of God’s salvation. Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23. We believe man is saved by grace through faith in what Christ has done for us on the cross, not by anything we can do; it is a gift of God.-Ephesians 2:8,9

D. We believe that the child of God has been given a new nature at the time of salvation and is enabled to live a Godly life only by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. John 3:3-7, Galatians 5:17-26

E. We believe the obedient Christian has followed the Lord in believer’s baptism and is actively serving in the ministry of the local church. -Hebrews 10:25, Philippians 1:3-6

F. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, Word of God, final in content and complete in revelation.-II Timothy 3: 16

G. We believe in the Bible’s teaching of marriage as only the union between a man and a woman. Matthew 19:5

H. We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. – Genesis 1:26-27

I.We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Ps 139.)

OUR FINAL AUTHORITY FOR MATTERS OF FAITH AND CONDUCT

The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe.

For purposes of Coral Park Christian Academy’s faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our school board of directors is Coral Park Christian Academy’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.

NOTICE REGARDING CORAL PARK CHRISTIAN ACADEMY RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION

Families seeking admission to Coral Park Christian Academy must understand that our School affirms Jesus Christ’s incarnate and the Savior of men.

Furthermore, our mission is to instruct and challenge our students to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Every child may experience Christ’s love and have a relationship with Him. We will not only teach our students Christian biblical doctrines, but we will actively seek to lead each of them to a personal, vital, and ever-growing relationship with God through a decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and live actively in obedience to Him. Parents who understand and acknowledge this lifestyle should consider Coral Park Christian Academy the right school to educate their children. While our school enrolls and accepts all students, it does not tolerate any attitude or behavior that would be detrimental to the overall spiritual atmosphere of the school, staff, or other students.
